Even prior to their collaboration with the NBA, Nike often pushed the “Hardwood Classic” theme, using it to signal a number of throwback releases. Today, the newly debuted LeBron 19 surfaces with this exact nickname, its colorway a likely reference to a past classic.

Though light in use, every instance of color stands out: blues pop below see-through bubbles, while orange shines against a mostly black backdrop. The latter appears not only along the Flywire but also the various branding, lining, and just part of the side’s cosmetic gradient.
